Who would have thought? Birds? They have color? They make beautiful sounds? There are so many different species and….WOW!….look how many we have right outside our windows! I knew nothing of the birding world until I met my husband, a handsome walking talking personal guide and full of knowledge regarding the realm of nature.
Chris grew up with nature as it was and is his greatest past time. Now, we explore the wonder of nature, birding together. We travel the world photographing and watching wildlife in all its glory.
We have become avid birders and are pleased to share our photos and “birds eye views” posting, comments and books, which the first of these has been published. “Birds We See” in Baja California Sur, Mexico can be purchased by clicking here or on the “Books” tab above.
This beautiful book is a photographic journey of the Birds We See in the estuaries, arroyos and seashores of Los Cabos and the East Cape region of Baja California Sur, Mexico. It contains more than 185 of our original photographs including approximately 85 species that live there or stop over during annual migrations.
A portion of sales goes to ovarian cancer research at M.D. Anderson, who has helped in giving us a better quality of life together and more opportunities to see what nature has to offer. We hope you join us and walk through nature with an appreciation of the many sites and sounds of our feathered friends.
