Who would have thought? Birds? They have color? They have songs? There are so many different species and….WOW!….look how many we have right outside our windows! I knew nothing of the bird world until I met my husband, a walking talking knowledge of nature.
He grew up with nature as it was and is his greatest past time. Now, we explore the wonder of nature and birding together. We have traveled the world, birding and taking nature photos and seeing wildlife at its best. We have become avid birders and our birding mainly takes place in Baja California Sur, Mexico and the great Pacific Northwest. But we are not stopping there! We now have intentions of traveling the USA in our Chevrolet (Winnebago) and bringing you our nature photos, “birds eye views” posting and comments and books on birding and nature, which the first of these has just been released. This book is a photographic journey of the Birds We See in the estuaries, arroyos and seashores of Los Cabos and the East Cape region of Baja. It contains more than 185 original photographs of some of the many birds that live here or stop over during annual migrations.
